Last Friends

Another Jap Drama.

About 6 friends:
A girl who was willing to sacrifice her own happiness to save her friends by giving in to her abusive boyfriend.
A man whose wife betrayed him.
A girl who could not love a man as she loved her girlfriend
A man who had sex phobia and could not love a woman
A girl who could not decide what she really wanted in a relationship
A man who used violence to keep his girlfriend by his side.

They were all victims of their own emotions, characters, upbringing etc.

Friends?
Although we have friends，good friends.
But there is an intangible connection among us in terms of emotions, feelings towards each other.
We cannot avoid/deny the existence of such connection.

In the end, what are friends to us?
Somebody who we really love? Or who we need when in time of difficulties? Or who we want to protect with our lives? Or who will make us feel love with them around? Or who will make us feel wanted and not abandoned?
Or simply we have such profound feelings for them that we do not know at all?

we need them, love them, cherish them
but we can hurt them, break them, destroy them in one way or the other...

But who are the ones stay with us at the end?
Who will be our last friends?

Or does 'last friends' really exist?
